For example, Silver Dollar City hosts six different festivals during the season and live, outdoor concerts are common at the Branson Landing during the summer.

26th Fiddle Festival & Mid-America Fiddlers Championship

The 26th Branson Fiddle Festival will feature food, demonstrations, strolling entertainers, workshops, and sidewalk sales. Nationally known judges have the tough job of deciding who will win $5,000 in cash prizes. The Fiddling competition will be in the Historic Owen Theatre on Commercial Street in Historic Downtown. The contest is Saturday, Aug. 2, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. Saturday. There is NO entry fee to contestants. Pre-registration is greatly appreciated. Fiddle contestants will receive reimbursement of festival admission at time of their registration into the competition.
Tickets for ages 13 and up are $8. Tickets for children are $4. Lap children 3 and younger get in free.
Workshops will be in a private conference room Friday, Aug. 1. Pre-registration for workshops is strongly suggested.
